Rockhopper Finding guide

No matter who you are, you always want to find this pirate at least once. If your one of the lucky who have found him many times, then good job. Still, even you finding specialists could use some more tips because nobody has found Rockhopper every single time he goes to a new server. My guide, on the other hand, may make this possible.

Here is a quick description of Rockhopper from wikipedia to start us off.

Rockhopper is a pirate who arrives at Club Penguin aboard a pirate ship named The Migrator. Introduced on October 14, 2006, he arrives in the game approximately every two to three months. During a Rockhopper visit, all players (including non-members) may explore his ship, which offers exclusive ‘rare’ items for purchase, and a fictional diary of the character’s adventures. Rockhopper’s items can be found no where else besides his ship. When among game players, Rockhopper appears as most others except that he wears a pirate hat, and a beard which are not available to others. Players who find Rockhopper and click on him receive exclusive items such as a background for their player card. If you click “Visit igloo” it will take you to his ship but when his ship broke down in his most recent visit, it took you to the beach. You cannot be Rockhopper’s buddy or report him. Rockhopper has a red puffle named Yarr. In the month of February Rockhopper’s ship crashed. This opened a chance for a new game called Aqua Grabber. The game is completed when all missing items from Rockhopper’s ship have be found and placed into a net. With the help of G, penguins began rebuilding the Migrater.



Finding Rockhopper

Whether you want his new free gift or just to take a picture, finding Rockhopper will always be the same. There are many tips to know before you set sail in your search. Knowing these will help you find him much faster.

Rockhopper’s favorite room is the Pizza Parlor and of course, his ship.
The main rooms Rockhopper hangs out in are his ship, the deck of his ship, his head quarters, the snow forts, plaza, pizza parlor, and cove.
Rockhopper will show up a lot on very small servers. When there aren’t much people on, you can expect to see our favorite pirate!
The main crowded servers Rockhopper will show up on is Mammoth and sometimes Frozen.
When searching for Rockhopper, make sure to check this page for an updated tracking of him 24/7.
The Player Card



If you look at Rockhopper’s player card, you will see some buttons lighted up while others aren’t. This is because he is a form of staff. Clicking the “Add buddy” icon that looks like a winking emoticon will allow you to collect the free item he brings. It is usally his Rockhopper background. You can’t find him, because you can’t be his buddy. Going to his house will take you to his ship, not an igloo. If you send him mail it’s ok, but I don’t think he will check it. I don’t see why, but you can ignore Rockhopper if you choose. You can’t report him though.a

For some reason, I never bother to find Rockhopper.
Sometimes I run into RH on random servers, which is fun lol!

One time I was at the forest, camping very peacefully... SUDDENLY A GIANT CROWD APEARS AND RH STARTS SAYING NON-SENSE... It was strange...
